More Birthday Wishes

There are so many wonderful images in the Party Time transparent set by Penny Black.     

Yesterday I used the cupcake and sentiment.  Today's card features the cute hedgehog with the flowers and letter.

This is a very clean and simple card. 

I stamped everything with black VersaFine and heat embossed with clear powder.

The images were watercolored by transferring marker ink that was applied to a plastic palette with a damp paintbrush.

To add a little texture, I ran the thin piece of red cardstock through a paper crimper.

This was a new color combination for me and I was excited about the outcome.
