Today I am working with Penny Black’s Mix & Match Cardstock in reverse. Instead of having the color on the outside, I folded the card with the white facing out and trimmed the front flap to reveal a small border of the pretty green from the inside.
Here is a view of the card slightly opened:
Viva Diva was stamped on a separate piece of white cardstock with Onyx Black VersaFine ink and heat embossed with clear powder. The heat embossing provides a great “fence” when coloring and the image remains crisp and sharp. After trimming, it was then attached with dimensional foam.
The Scroll Strip stamped in Magnolia Bud ink provided a subtle and elegant design in which the sentiment was over stamped.
Last but not least - every crown needs some glitter!
Have a happy day,
Elizabeth
