Framed Card Art

This was a project I created last fall for a submission.  I got to wear my "number crunching" hat while I developed and calculated all the dimensions and folds.  I was very excited about how it turned out.

This was the most challenging part - an inset window.

I also attached a collapsible easel....

To accent the sentiment, a button was tinted with Alcohol Ink and green holographic thread was wrapped through the holes.

After stamping the background pattern in New Sprout Ink, Pear Tart Ink was blended on top.   Before assembling, the box was sprayed with Gold Sheer Shimmer Spritz.  The decorative band was also stamped with VersaMark Watermark Ink and then pounced with Gold Perfect Pearls Powder.  Lots of shimmer throughout!

Stamped segments of the flower were layered for dimension.

The flower segments were colored with Tombow Markers (DTP/direct-to-paper) and then pounced and "smooshed" with a sponge dauber and Tangelo Ink.  The segments were then sprayed with Copper Sheer Shimmer Spritz and soft bends were added.

Thank you for stopping by.  Your visits are greatly appreciated.

Enjoy your day,
Elizabeth
